PHYTOPHOS

Phytophos is Trade name of Bio nature. For potassium Phosphonate containing 40% phosphorus acid along with water soluable herbal extract and potash as neutralizing agent along with china green.   It is a scientifically blended water-soluble salt of phosphorus acid and containing 40% as H3 PO3 and 24% as Potassium in Phosphonate form.  Phosphorus acid as shown excellent activity against Oomycetes fungi like Phytophthora, Pythium, Peronospora, Plasmopara, Sclerospora and many genera of phycomycetes in vitro as well as in vivo.  Phytophos is in true sense systemic chemical get translocated through root as well as foliage. Unlike other fungicides, Phytophos is translocated through xylem as well as phloem.  It has strong curative and protective action against target pathogen.  It is not toxic to non-target microorganisms and adopts very well in the integrated disease management.  Being only specific to Oomycetes fungi, Phytophos can be an ideal partner in fungicide mixture to provide broad spectrum control of diseases.

Potassium Phosphonate being highly cost effective, being  friendly to eco system including soil and crop and specific and hard to control pathogems may emerge as leading agro input commodity.  Unlike other pesticides, potassium Phosphonate once degraded in the soil gets converted into plant nutrient, H3PO3  which is used as phosphate sources to plants.  Potassium gets disassociated in plant system and perform the role of one of the major nutrient and potassium phosphate server as double action product controlling the disease and then server as nutrient to plants
